Registration for the Olympus Marathon summer races

Registration for the Olympus Marathon summer races, which will take place on the last weekend of June 2022, opens on January 23, 2022 at 19:00. They are:

Olympus Marathon ® (44km, +3300m) on Saturday 25.06.2022
Olympus Ultra (70km, +5200m) on Saturday 25.06.2022
Olympus Vertical (4.25km, +1000m) on Friday 24.06.2022
Kopsi ton Aeton (14km, +480m) on Sunday 26.06.2022
Melindra Trail (5km, +180m) on Sunday 26.06.2022

Following the positive response from the General Secretary of Sports (GSS), we are pleased to announce the opening of the registrations for non-vaccinated athletes. The races of the 18th edition of Olympus Marathon will take place without restrictions within the pandemic.

Registration for the Olympus Marathon and Olympus Ultra races will remain open until May 31, 2022. For the Olympus Vertical, Kopsi ton Aeton, Melindra the closing date for registrations will be announced later.

We ask all athletes to read the Regulations of each race carefully before registering. If the criteria for the Olympus Marathon and Olympus Ultra races are not met, the application will not be accepted.

17th Olympus Marathon - The Eagles Edge Highlights (3rd day...)

Olympus Marathon is a unique trail running event held annually on Mount Olympus, the Greek mythical “Mountain of the gods”. The route revives the pilgrimage of ancient Greeks to Mount Olympus, where they ascended every year to honour and sacrifice to Zeus. The race starts the last Sunday of June from the sacred city of Dion, at the sunrise. Athletes retrace history and myth across the paths of the Mount Olympus.
